Entrepreneur Training from Central Texas Angel Network - Hall Martin.

Hall T. Martin, Director of the Central Texas Angel Network will speak on the process of raising funding for a startup or early stage venture. The presentation will discuss the funding process, funding sources, how to write an executive summary, deal structuring, and tips on pitching your idea. The Central Texas Angel Network formed in 2006 and currently has a membership of 50 investors with $2.8M invested in seven deals to date. About Mr. Martin Hall T. Martin is the Executive Director of the Central Texas Angel Network based in Austin, Texas, providing funding for startup and early stage companies in a broad range of areas. He serves on the board of several startups.

United Inventors Association (UIA).

The UIA is a tax exempt, not for profit corporation 501(c3) formed in 1990 solely for educational purposes. The mission of the UIA is to provide leadership, support, and services to inventor support groups and independent inventors. Membership is extended to these as well as to others who provide reputable service and support to the inventor community. The Inventors’ Awareness Center is the inventor education and advocacy program of UIA and is presented in detail under the section “Red Flag Warnings.” The UIA is sponsored by the Academy of Applied Science.

Mary & Barbara just completed writing The Everything Book on Inventing and Patenting for Adam's Publishings' Everything Book series. It is scheduled to be published February 2006 and will be available at all major book stores.

What is Texchange?

Texchange is a thought-provoking dinner roundtable established to assist entrepreneurs from public and private companies in building their businesses, expanding their networks, and identifying resources that drive business. Texchange, a non-profit organization, is focused on creating the leading communities for information exchange between entrepreneurs and the service provider, educator and financial community. Each round table dinner evening kicks-off with a speaker introducing a vital topic and challenging the audience with discussion points for the evening. During each dinner, a table leader facilitates the conversation with eight entrepreneurs and the supporting organizations. The forum is concluded with an interactive group discussion over dessert.
